In September, I shared Witnessing Conflict at Leica Store & Galerie Stuttgart and Fotomesse Tirol in Innsbruck.
The talks looked at the stories behind my photographs: meeting people, building trust and deciding what to show. They were also a chance to talk about the responsibility that comes with photographing someone else’s life.
After Stuttgart on 24 September and Innsbruck on the 25th, I stayed at the fair for a storytelling workshop on the 26th. We focused on choosing photographs and bringing them together into a story.
