I’m honored to have received 2nd place in AAP Magazine’s 51st issue, “Colors.”
The winning photograph, The Yellow Man of Aleppo, portrays Abu Zakkour, a man who has dressed exclusively in yellow since 1983. In the streets of Aleppo — a city scarred by years of war — his radiant presence has become a symbol of individuality and quiet resilience.
Colors of Resilience, the broader series this image belongs to, explores how color becomes an act of defiance and identity in places marked by hardship.
You can view the full feature in the upcoming issue of AAP Magazine.
