The Yellow Man of Aleppo received second place in AAP Magazine’s 51st issue, Colors.
The photograph portrays Abu Zakkour, who has dressed exclusively in yellow since 1983. Against the streets of Aleppo, a city marked by years of war, his singular presence becomes an assertion of individuality and quiet resilience.
The image belongs to Colors of Resilience, a wider series examining how colour can carry identity and defiance in places shaped by hardship.
