Worlds Apart is Laurin Strele’s first monograph, published by Eyeshot in 2025.
Made entirely in colour, the book brings together photographs from Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, Cuba, India, China and beyond. Rather than following a strict chronology, the sequence is guided by atmosphere, gesture and emotional proximity.
The work moves between conflict and recovery, distance and connection, fragility and endurance. Its focus is the human condition across borders and cultures, and the ways people continue to create meaning within fractured circumstances.

The book was announced with the following schedule: pre-orders opened on 10 October and closed on 31 December without extension; printing was scheduled for January and February, with shipping planned for February and March.
