Syria 2027 — Workshop seat deposit
Syria documentary photography workshop
15–21 April 2027, with Laurin Strele. Maximum 10 participants.
€1,000 deposit per participant, not the full workshop fee. Total €4,400 for bookings through 15 October 2026, then €5,000. Remaining balance €3,400 or €4,000 respectively, due 15 January 2027, three months before the workshop. For bookings on or after that date, the balance is due within 7 days. No automatic balance charge.
Includes all meals, hotel accommodation and transport within Syria. International flights are not included. Check with us about any service not expressly included.
Planned route: Damascus, Saidnaya, Maaloula, Homs, Hama and Aleppo. All visits remain subject to permissions, access and current security conditions. Access to the former Saidnaya prison is not guaranteed. Official travel warnings apply.

The deposit forms part of the total workshop fee. Your confirmation email contains the remaining amount, exact due date and bank transfer details.
Cancellation and transfers
Please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Any cancellation charge must reflect justified costs, accounting for savings and resale; the deposit is not automatically forfeited. Transfer to a future workshop may be arranged by agreement, subject to availability, price differences and justified costs. If we cancel, workshop payments will be refunded, or you may voluntarily choose a transfer to a future workshop. For safety concerns or a deteriorating security situation, we may cancel up to one month before departure. Mandatory consumer and traveller rights, including rights arising from extraordinary circumstances closer to departure, remain unaffected. Existing individual booking agreements remain unchanged.
